Yes! We have ALT Shift which is for Bay City Michigan schools ISDs to check out AT from throughout the state! Aside from that I’m unaware of any others in our area.

There is a group of people in Ann Arbor who are interested in starting this type of lending library. It would be helpful to talk with Fair Play.

Yes. I run the Assistive Technology Lending Library at Lincoln Intermediate Unit for staff and districts within our 3-county footprint (25 districts). In addition, in PA there’s a lending library we can access through PATTAN and Tech Owl (out of Temple).

I should note, I have been utterly swamped and have had ZERO time to work on my Makey Makey project. Is there a deadline?

In PA, the statewide Assistive Technology Lending Library is accessed through www.techowlpa.org. It is housed at UCP of Central PA and facilitated by the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University in Philadelphia. There are 9 regional centers across the state with AT Specialists to assist clients in identifying devices or programs to meet their needs.
UCP of NEPA runs a Lekotek toy lending library, as well as other programs for children, out of Clarks Summit, PA (near Scranton). Contact through www.ucpnepa.org.

On a side note, anyone can look up their state AT program to see if they have a lending library by going to www.ataporg.org
